Ben was told by a co-worker that the light house was a must-see. So, we drove ourselves the 20 miles to it and discovered it was an uphill 1/2 mile hike to the visitor's center. We weren't prepared for the extreme wind and cold on the top of a cliff and wussed out. But we did get a couple of pictures of the beach below. A couple was all we could handle in the freezing wind. Notice also that the wind was so bad that we couldn't keep our eyes open for the pictures. I felt like we might as well have been in a blizzard. I know, I'm a wuss.
Saturday we drove up and saw our friends the Millars and the Millars (yep, they are brothers) in Menlo Park. We hung out a little with them and got some lunch at Chevy's. There Ben got another little bday celebration (making for day 4 of bday related activities).Boz and Ben both have May bdays (Boz's is the 16th I believe?), so we got the waiter at Chevy's to sing to both of them. You gotta love Chevy's and the bday sombreros!
Yesterday we went to Ben's parents for Mother's Day. Ryan cooked an awesome dinner! We also did the cake deal for Dan's bday. which was the day before. They were at a wedding Saturday so cake got postponed to yesterday. The kids all loved helping Grandpa blow out the candles! And Mother's Day was great. Ben took care of Baylee for the most part, and I got some great presents. The best part was being with Ben and Baylee. I love being Baylee's mom and our little family!

Sweet sombreros.
Seriously, do you guys ever stop partying?! :) I can't believe all the traveling and fun adventures you two go on. Good to know about the lighthouse hike in the freezing wind--doesn't sound like fun to me either!
