Ok, here's my tag from Katie. It's a flashback from my days at ThunderRidge High School.
1. Did you date someone from your school? Only one of my high school boyfriends was from my school- Steve C.
2. What kind of car did you drive? My senior year I drove a Jeep Wrangler.
3. What was the most embarrassing moment of HS? I'm sure I have a lot, but one of the only ones I remember was falling down the stairs and flashing everyone. I had one a barely below the knee light blue skirt with slits on both sides and those tall black platformish Steve Madden shoes. Yeah, people were talking about it all over school that day. Glad I could be of some entertainment.
4. Were you a party animal? I didn't drink or anything, but I knew how to have fun (like dnacing and doing cartwheels on the bowling lane and almost getting kicked out). My friends and I could get kinda crazy.
5. Were you considered a flirt? Yeah, I could be.
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Band. I played percussion. At my school it wasn't considered geeky to be in band, but I didn't do marching band (it wasn't offered until my senior year, and I was too little to carry anything anyways. The few times we did it in class I had to play the cow bell).
7. Were you a nerd? Nope.
8. Were you on any varsity teams? I lettered in Soccer (but as the Boy's Soccer Manager), band, and theatre.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? Nope, but I did get in trouble for my clothes a time or two. I don't think it was ever bad enough that I had to wear the "I Love My Principal" shirt, though.
10. Can you still sing the fight song? I'm going to have to say yes, but only because they drilled it into us sooooo much. You would have had to go there to understand. We were also the first graduating class, so it was kinda different. Rachel understands.
11. Who were your favorite teachers? I can't really remember teachers very well. Mr. Snell (band) was pretty cool.
12. Where did you sit during lunch? Inside the lunch room, unless the school let us eat outside. I changed lunch groups a lot. I hung out with different people all the time.
13. School mascot? We were the ThunderRidge Grizzlies.
14. Did you go to homecoming, and with who? I think I went all 4 years. The three of the years I think I just went with friends, and then one year I went with one of Jim's friends, Kelly. He came down from Colorado Springs to go with me.
15. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Probably not. Although it might have been fun to go to a normal high school. Mine opened my freshman year and we were always the oldest class, so high school was kinda weird. There were some good times though.
16. What do you remember most about graduation? We were only allowed to have a certain amount of people come because it was at Boettcher Hall. Andrew had me be his picture buddy, and that was kinda weird. We had to wear nice clothes under our gowns, so I had on a blue American Eagle dress that was pretty cute and I think I still have. We sat with our homerooms, which I hated because I wasn't friends with anyone in my homeroom. It was long and we carpooled from our school to Denver and had to be there really early in the morning and then hang out in a little room until graduation started.
17. Where did you go senior skip day? We all went to Chatfeild Reservior. Don't ask me what we did there because I don't really remember.
18. Were you in any clubs? I did cheerleading my freshman year, boys soccer manager my sophmore and junior year, and theatre and band throughout high school. I might have done other things, but I can't remember.
19. Have you gained some weight since then? I'm going to have to say yes, considering my junior year I only weighed about 85 pounds.
20. Who was your prom date? Junior year I went with Steve C., senior year I didn't have a date. A few guys told me after that they wanted to ask me, but they thought I already had a date or were scared I would say no or wished they had asked me. I don't reccommend going dateless when all of your friends but you have a date (and boyfriends). Not very fun.
21. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Probably not.
22. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself? Just have fun, which I tried to do.
Ok, so I want to tag Wendy, Laura, Rachel, both Brooke's, Heather, Maegan, Natalie, and anyone else for this one. It's kinda fun to read how other people were in high school. If I tagged you for the other one, you could just pick one if you want.
And these are basically my school colors. Haha.

Wow, what a tag! Impeccable timing, Brittany! I have a 10 year reunion to attend this weekend, so I'm sure I'll have a flood of memories to write about soon. Thanks for the tag! :)
p.s.--I love that you played the cowbell! Have you ever seen that SNL skit? - "I need more cowbell!" It's classic.
And I can't believe you were 85# your junior year! Now I see where Baylee gets her petite-ness.
Hehe, good read. I just finished this tag :) http://slimsmillar.blogspot.com/2008/09/tag_25.html
You were a lot cooler in high school than myself. Better dressed too! (still are in both cases)
